Is the Core/Booster used for the bed and the price is $1000. ?

    1. Joan Yarema

All of our Sleep Pads are for use underneath your mattress where you sleep. They are used every night while sleep, with no need to do anything different. The price for a Single size, Core Pad is $1000 but if you have a bigger bed (double, queen, king, etc) they do increase in price.

How far from my body should the sleep pad be when I install it on my bed. My bed has two metal support bars at the bottom of it. Does this effect the benefits of the sleep pad. I have it under my mattress right now.

    1. Joan Yarema

It’s important to have at least have a 4 inch mattress between you and the Sleep Pad. This takes into consideration that it will sink a bit of course, but if you’re concerned that maybe the material is too soft you may want 5 inches.

Those metal support bars won’t have an impact on the Sleep Pad’s performance. Metal bed frames and even metal spring coil mattresses are just fine to use.

I own a single Super Sleep system. What would the gauss measurement be at 4″ above it ?

        1. Joan Yarema

You’d be looking at around 28 gauss at 4″ from the surface of a Super Sleep System when measured.

        2. Steve Zychal

When I run a Gauss meter over my bed it reads -10 gauss do I have my sleep pad set up correctly? Shouldn’t it be +10 gauss?

I sleep on a 3.9″ (no joke – lol) natural latex pad. Can I still use this pad? What product would you suggest for that? Thank you!

    1. Joan Yarema

3.9″ should be sufficient. In terms of which pad to get, that depends on your situation. Check out our “Help Me Choose” page to get a rough idea what will work best for you. Ideally if you can afford it, the Super Sleep System has the most to offer anyone. But if the price is too high for you, I would suggest getting a Booster (there is some extra foam between the magnets and the mattress, effectively adding to your distance from the pad).

Can I use it with a futon?

    1. Joan Yarema

You may use any bed type, including a futon, as long as it is at least 4 inches thick.

And just as a caution, as futons can sometimes be used for this, it is important to never fold the Magnetico Sleep Pad in order to avoid damaging the magnets.

Hi. I have a Queen bed, but I really only sleep on one side. If I got a twin pad to put right under the side of the bed I sleep on, could that work?

    1. Joan Yarema

We don’t recommend this as it’s important to avoid being in the return magnetic field that exists around all sides of the pad. If you happened to move into the uncovered are while you were sleeping, even just a hand or foot, it could undo all the benefits the Sleep Pad can provide.

can you use your mattresses one on top of the other?

    1. Joan Yarema

Our Sleep Pads (as they are not a mattress themselves) can be placed on one another: the Booster Pad is in fact designed to be placed on a Core Pad, and this is what we call the Super Sleep System. However if you wanted to place let’s say another Super Sleep System on top of that, there are diminishing returns with this strategy, and is moderately cost prohibitive for most people.

My mattress is 12 inches thick , it is made of soy / natural components , will it work or no ? I assume the pad goes on top of the boxspring and under the mattress ?

    1. Joan Yarema

Both the thickness and material are not a problem – our Sleep Pad will function normally with your mattress. The Sleep Pad does indeed go underneath the mattress and on the box spring (if you have one).

    why the high cost?

    1. Joan Yarema

The patented Magnetico Sleep Pads use thousands of magnets and each product is required to be manufactured by hand, as automation is not possible with such strong magnets!

  9. Traci

What is the difference between the core pad and the booster pad?

    1. Joan Yarema

The Booster pad is placed on top of a Core Pad to double the strength. It is important that it be a Core and a Booster, otherwise it will be won’t provide 20 gauss that the Super Sleep System advertises.

  10. Shane Waddell

If the edges of the sleep pad have a detrimental return field, then wouldn’t that make it necessary to stay away from the side of your bed when you are not sleeping? In other words, how far out is the sphere of the magnetic force from top to bottom (positive effects) and from one side to the other (negative effects) ? Thank you.

    1. Joan Yarema

The positive (+) return field goes out about 4 feet. It isn’t strictly detrimental, but it should be avoided for long periods of time. For example, if you work from home beside you bed, or read or watch TV for more than an hour right beside your bed.

  11. Rick

If your dogs sleeps on the bed with you on the core pad….Does it affect them in any negative ways

  12. Vanessa

Do you ship to UK or is there an outlet in UK

    1. Joan Yarema

We ship direct to customer, and our Sleep Pads can be shipped anywhere UPS delivers.

  13. Kelly

My sleep pad is at least 25 years old. Is it still working?

    1. Joan Yarema

Dr. Bonlie has done a rough calculation, and a Sleep Pad should only lose about 10% of it’s strength over 40 years! So yours should still be working just fine.

  14. Alex

Hi there! Quick question: there’s copper in my mattress, does that matter?

    1. Joan Yarema

Copper in your bed is not a concern, unless it’s doing something in particular such as running a current.

  15. Vanessa Stiver

Can these be used during pregnancy or while trying to conceive given the amount of detoxification it induces?

    1. Joan Yarema

You should not start using the Sleep Pad during pregnancy. However, if someone has been using a Sleep Pad for at least 3 months before becoming pregnant the heaviest part of the detox is complete so there is no concern.

  16. Lynn

Is there any way to block the positive return field on one side? I do have an area within four feet that is often used.

  17. David

I sleep best on my couch would it work under the cushions? It is not a perfect ly flat as a box spring.

    1. Joan Yarema

As long as the cushions are about 4 inches thick – this is the minimum requirement to keep far enough away from the Sleep Pads to avoid the bipolar magnetic “spikes” that exist close to the pad. A mostly flat surface underneath is fine, the Sleep Pads are flexible and won’t be damaged by a slightly uneven surface as long as they are properly supported.

  18. Paul Benhaim

I have an earthing sheet under my sheet. Will this be affected by the pad?
