The Magnetico Story…

In 1989-90, Dr. Bonlie was involved in another type of energy research that included the use of magnetism, but with no thought toward a possible health product. He was then invited to consult on a study that was being conducted for a doctoral thesis using bi-polar magnetic sleep pads for patients with asthma. The results were not consistent, and the scope of the study was constrained by thesis deadline date. That incomplete study triggered Dr. Bonlie’s quest to investigate the potential of magnetic fields in improving health and to discover a more effective way to supplement the earth’s magnetic field.

His curiosity, tenacity, and intellectual honesty stood him well as he developed the scientific theory from which the Magnetico Sleep Pads were developed. He and his wife, Joyce, made the first Sleep Pads for themselves, then for a few friends, and so it grew. The company was officially formed in 1991.

By 1992, Magnetico’s success and growth necessitated extra help, so the Bonlie’s daughter, Joan, and her husband, Lloyd, took over office management and manufacturing. This expanded team enabled Dr. Bonlie to spend more time testing, completing patents, and traveling to lecture at various health and medical conferences. The Magnetico “word” was spreading. From this small beginning, Magnetico now has hundreds of distributors and our unique Sleep Pads are shipped all over the world. Magnetico Sleep Pads are now recommended and used by many physicians and health professionals.

At Magnetico, we pride ourselves on being a small business with a big heart. When you phone, you will reach a real person (unless all lines are busy!) We promise personal attention to your questions and will do our best to help you understand how magnetism can help you have a healthier life.

Can Magnetico sleep pads be used with grounding sheets that are plugged in to a grounded socket?

    1. Joan Yarema

Grounding sheets should not be used with a Magnetico Sleep Pad. It is recommended that if you would like to use one, that you use it separately from the Magnetico Sleep Pad.

Do you consider that a electrosensitive person could use a Magnetico pad? We can¿t use cellphones nor beign around them. I can’t stand close to motors or electrical devices because I’m very sensitive. I think my body is deficient on earth energy, so when I walk on grass or being in nature I feel really good and my sleep is not the best since years.

Magnetico Sleep Pads do not use any electricity and instead use permanent magnets to create a constant uni-directional field (unlike electronic devices). And because of the benefits it provides we’ve had many customers who have recovered from their EMF sensitivity after using our Pads.

I have a spring mattress 12” thick, includes the comfort padding.
Which Magnetico sleep pad should I be looking at ?

    1. Joan Yarema

A mattress 12″ inches thick isn’t particularly unusual. To ensure you get the best experience, we’d probably recommend the Super Sleep System. But you can check out the Help Me Choose section for more guidelines to go off of.

Does magnetico sleep pad require grounding through chord to earth, or is there any other option? I am asking because i live in apartment on third floor. TnX

    1. Joan Yarema

Because our Sleep Pads use ceramic magnets to generate and enhance the magnetic field, it does not need to be plugged in!

Can the super sleep system be used with a full metal bed frame?

    1. Joan Yarema

Yes! Any of the Sleep Pads will work just fine with metal bed frames.

    Hello,
I use grounding sheets that simply involve using a metal rod inserted into the ground outside my room to gather earth’s DC current. There are no sockets or electrical circuits involved. Is this combination harmonious with the magnetico given that it is simply grounding with nature?

Can someone with a pacemaker use a Magnetico Sleep Pad?

    1. Joan Yarema

Unfortunately no; we are unable to guarantee the magnetic field won’t interact with an electronic device and so it may not be safe.
