Select the same size as your Core

Order the Booster in the same size as your existing Core: Single, Single XL, Double, Queen, King, California King, or European King. Do not select a Booster based only on the size of a new mattress or bed frame. The Booster and Core layers must align across the sleeping area.

How the Booster Upgrades Your Core

The Core is the first 10-gauss layer of the Super Sleep System. The Booster provides the second 10-gauss layer. When the two correctly matched pads are stacked beneath your mattress, they operate together as the complete 20-gauss Super Sleep System.

The 20-gauss rating is measured at the top surface of an 8-inch mattress. The magnetic field reaching the sleeping surface will vary with the distance between the system and your body, so it should not be interpreted as a universal measurement for every mattress thickness.

Your mattress must provide at least four inches of separation between your body and the magnetic pads. The Super Sleep System is Magnetico’s recommended option for mattresses more than 14 inches thick.

The Core was designed as the first stage of an upgradeable system. Adding the Booster allows you to retain the pad you already own and purchase only the second layer needed to create the Super Sleep System.

How to Install the Booster Sleep Pad

The Booster sits directly above your existing Core and beneath your mattress.

1. Remove your mattress

Remove the mattress carefully and clear the area around the bed. Both the Core and Booster are heavy, so arrange assistance before beginning.

2. Check the bed base

Make sure the box spring, platform or bed frame provides an even and supportive surface. If the bed has widely spaced slats, add thick cardboard, thin plywood or a bunkie board to prevent the pads from sagging.

3. Check the Core position

Your existing Core should lie flat on the bed base with its labels facing upwards toward the ceiling. The labels may be positioned at either the head or foot of the bed.

4. Position the Booster above the Core

Place the rolled-up Booster directly on top of the Core, keeping the corners aligned and labels facing upward, then unroll down the Core. Do not leave large gaps, overlaps or folded areas between the sections. The magnets will instantly attract and link together for a perfect fit.

5. Replace the mattress

Carefully return the mattress to the bed. Check that neither magnetic layer has shifted during the process.

6. Check the system periodically

If you use an adjustable bed or frequently move the bed, inspect the pads periodically to make sure they have not shifted, folded or become compressed.

Never fold either pad. Follow Magnetico’s rolling instructions when moving or storing the system.

• Assistance is strongly recommended for carrying and installing the pad

The Booster is a large and heavy product. Arrange for another person to help receive, move, and install it, particularly if the delivery must be carried upstairs.

Important Safety Warning

Do not use a Magnetico Sleep Pad if you have an implanted electrical device, as the magnetic field may interfere with the operation of these devices. Speak to an appropriate medical professional before using the system if you have questions about an implanted device or your personal circumstances.

Do not use additional applied magnets while lying on the Magnetico Sleep Pad. Magnetico also advises against combining the system with electric blankets, heating pads or devices designed to create or interact with magnetic fields.
